the elongated stone volume emerges from the sloping grassland carved from the ruins of the former fortress, its narrow vertical openings rhythmically marking the façade while framing views toward the nearby lake. the entrance is subtly recessed under the massive overhang, enhancing the sense of shelter and permanence. the green roof merges seamlessly with the surrounding hill, allowing the house to disappear into the landscape when seen from above, while its textured stone walls echo the memory of the site’s historic past.
