an infill building in lviv, situated between two neighbours of different heights. the facade is composed of two materials — century-old brick salvaged from demolished austrian buildings, and glazed curtain wall systems. the brick maintains a connection with the street's existing context, while the glass reflects it — together allowing the building to be present without breaking away from its surroundings.
the windows are positioned according to the parcelation of the adjacent facades, continuing their rhythm. on the left the roofline meets the third floor, on the right the fourth, making the building a natural transition between two different street heights.
